Safety
Investor funds are held in segregated accounts with large brokerage houses/clearing houses which are the largest non-bank futures merchants worldwide.
In the SP trader Fund, you don't receive shares but an allocation of your account held with us. Whatever funds are in your account at settlement date will be redeemed to you should an unforeseen event occur. Your account can be cashed out at any time within 24 hours so it is always liquid and transparent unlike shares in most funds which need to be valued monthly or quarterly. With SP Trader Fund the value date is settled at the end of each market day and your funds are then liquid and realizable.
SP trader Liquidity
The natural liquidity of futures markets allows investors the ability to liquidate their investment on 90 days notice. While those investors who take a long term horizon often see better performance results, it is good to know that your investment can be
liquidated quickly at any time.
Transparancy
Unlike other investments in stocks or private equity deals where performance is hard to evaluate, your SP Trader investment is completely transparent with statements on a mark to market basis (in effect a cashbasis at the end of each calendar month).
